Colony Unveils Stylish New Workspace at 19 Spring Gardens

Jun 5, 2025 | News

Flexible workspace provider Colony has officially opened the doors to its latest venue at 19 Spring Gardens, marking its seventh site in Manchester — and arguably its most design-led yet.

The new space, perched on the fifth floor just a short walk from Manchester’s Piccadilly and Victoria stations, blends Colony’s signature community-first ethos with a garden-inspired interior, featuring earthy tones, natural oak finishes and abundant greenery.

Part of Colony’s expanding footprint across the city — with existing hubs in Ancoats, New Islington and Piccadilly — the Spring Gardens venue offers a full range of flexible work options. These include private offices, dedicated coworking desks, meeting rooms, phone booths, casual breakout areas, and even an outdoor terrace.

With 90% of coworking desks already taken and private offices across Colony’s network at peak occupancy, the demand for flexible workspace in Manchester continues to soar. In response, Colony is already fitting out the building’s third floor to accommodate more members.

Leading the new site are Shaz and Jonny, familiar faces from Colony’s Jactin House, now helping to foster a vibrant professional community in the heart of the city centre.

And the expansion doesn’t stop there: Colony has confirmed an eighth venue will open in late 2025 at 76 King Street, which will include additional workspace, an event space, and a dedicated podcast studio.

This marks the launch of Spaces and Places, a new series spotlighting some of the North’s most inspiring creative and professional environments — and Colony Spring Gardens certainly sets the bar high.
