Deloitte is launching a dedicated technology centre in Manchester at 100 Embankment, committing to create 100 new roles over the next three years. The centre will initially bring together 50 existing technologists and focus on designing, building, and running business technology solutions including app development, cloud engineering, and AI integration.
The initiative aims to boost access to digital skills and career development, with all new hires receiving multi-year technical training to become experts in technology delivery.
Manchester is one of four strategic growth hubs—alongside Belfast, Cardiff, and Newcastle—where Deloitte will establish technology centres, starting June 2025. The firm plans to double its technology workforce across these centres in the next three years.
Jo Ahmed, Deloitte’s North West senior partner, said the move supports Greater Manchester’s ambition to be a leading digital and AI region, while Rob Cullen, managing partner for technology and transformation at Deloitte UK, highlighted the company’s commitment to becoming the UK’s largest onshore technology capability.
