Jordan Lynch Private Finance has acquired a three-storey, self-contained townhouse at St John’s Court on Gartside Street, strengthening its presence in Manchester’s Spinningfields business district.
The firm will undertake a full refurbishment of the property over the coming weeks before relocating its expanding Manchester team into the space later this year.
Constructed in the early 1980s, the Georgian-style townhouse features traditional sash windows designed to complement the historic character of the area. The building sits within Spinningfields’ contemporary commercial landscape, shaped by extensive regeneration since the early 2000s.
The acquisition supports Jordan Lynch Private Finance’s continued growth across the North West. The firm already occupies office space at No.1 Spinningfields, operates a head office in Cheadle Hulme, and maintains a presence in central London. The new townhouse will allow the business to increase capacity while offering a more personalised client experience.
Founder and Principal Director Tim Lynch said the move reflects both the firm’s growth ambitions and its client-focused approach.
“Manchester is booming and this acquisition will enable us to expand our team right in the city centre,” he said. “Mortgage advice has become increasingly depersonalised in recent years. While we fully embrace technology, many clients with complex borrowing requirements still benefit enormously from face-to-face meetings.
“It will be a real pleasure to welcome clients and introducers into our own self-contained office, just a stone’s throw from many of the professional firms we work with every day.”
Jordan Lynch Private Finance expects to complete the refurbishment and move into the building later this year, further embedding the firm within Manchester’s core professional and financial services district.
